Our busy December!

Wow in a way it seems like December was such a long time ago and not just a few weeks! Normally December is fairly quiet for us, but this year it was actually pretty busy and filled with lots of parties and other fun activities. Of course I attempted to take the boys' Christmas pictures, but didn't have too much success. However I did think that they looked incredibly cute in their Christmas dressy ness!
Rylen at 4 months!

Silly brothers!

My handsome boys!
We wanted to have Rylen dedicated before we moved, so at the beginning of December we were able to do that. Always such a special time and just thought provoking to make that promise to God.
Aiden was my very good helper in the kitchen, I did a fair bit of Christmas baking and I did it early so we could enjoy it for the rest of the month!
We also had Christmas at the Lodge with our church. We went to Blackstrap Lodge and had a church service, a big turkey dinner, lots of visiting and lots of playing for the kids!

Then....... we celebrated our Tristy bears 2nd BIRTHDAY! He loves animals, so I decided to do this simple barn cake! He loved it and it was really easy to make, so it was perfect.

He was definitly into the presents this year, which made it really hard to keep him out of the Christmas ones after he had his birthday.
Tristen is a VERY active little man, and he LOVES anything to do with sports. We found this great t-ball set that turns into a gold set. It was the perfect gift for him!

Our very cute birthday boy in his new birthday pajamas!
He had a friends party as well!

Tristen is by far one of the funniest kids I have ever met, he loves to be the clown and he has this angelic face that hides a lot of his potential naughtiness. He loves to cuddle with his many blankets and his sippy cup. He is passionate about sports and definitely a bit of a TV junkie. He is slowly starting to play a bit better with his brother and his language is developing at a crazy rate.

Aiden also had his preschool program. It was very cute, however he clammed up a bit and didn't actually participate all that much :)

They made these cute bake a cake gifts for their mom's.
They also had time to decorate cookies, here he is with his good friend Oakley.
The same day we had our girl's lunch Christmas party, I think this year was little surreal because it felt like I was doing a lot of lasts with the impending move looming in the near future. I felt like I just wanted to soak up all this normalacy and store it away for my lonely days.

We then headed to Jeff's parent's the weekend before Christmas, and had Christmas there. The boys had a great time playing with their cousins Noah and Kaiwren. Yes there are all boys on Jeff's side.
The highlight of course, present time!

and of course a good wrestling match by all the boys!
Noah, Aid and Trit
Ry enjoying some Auntie time.
Well that takes us to the Christmas week. Which I will blog about a little later. Also have some pictures to share of our new digs. A little glimpse of our Christmas!
