Well Thursday has come and gone and we survived and even thrived. I brought J to his home on Thursday morning and he was so content to be there, he barely said good-bye to me. The new foster mom was a little ataken back by all of his stuff, since her last foster daughter came with nothing from her previous foster home. Hard for me to believe, how can a child have nothing after living in your home? Anyway it has actually been a quick adjust, which I think is confirmation that we were really ready for this. Aiden seems to be fine, occasionally walks into J's room and says "no all gone" meaning he is all gone. It's a bit creepy in the empty room, so I filled it with Aiden's toys so he can start getting used to the room for his new room.
This was at the last event we had for our mom's group, we took some group pics of the kids for J's book-unfortunately I am not allowed to post those so I thought I would post this one of Aiden and his buddy Oakley.

This last Friday we had a little staff pool party at our Pastor's house. Aiden had a blast with their kitty and bunny running around, as well as the with the other 2 girls that were there.
He wasn't too crazy about the very cold water! But managed to enjoy a bit of it.

He much preferred sitting on the stairs and splashing his feet like crazy!

Trying out their hammock, that was pretty fun!

Peek-a-boo!
Aiden was 18 months on the 6th, wow hard to believe. He is growing and learning so quickly, he talks non stop and LOVES to be centre of attention. He has almost completely lost his shyness and has quite taken to my brother and his family being here this week. There is not a day that goes by that we don't laugh at something he does. He is so funny. Everything he does he does with great passion.
Prego pics to follow, getting quite the belly, even though I don't feel quite as big as the first time hopefully I can stay a bit smaller. I am plugging away at Aiden's scrapbook, hoping to get it done by the time the baby comes. But I am taking a little break this week to have a vacation with my family, the part of my summer that I have been waiting for alllllll summer. Tommorow our deck it being redone by my loving husband and brother, can't wait!
time for sleep
