The day started out just perfect- breakfast in bed. My favorite-French Toast, which Jeff had never made-very Yummy! Then some awesome presents, for those of you who don't know me as well. I LOVE presents- not to be disappointed, I received some new Mac makeup and very cute brown flip-flops.

Not the most attractive picture-but it was 7:30 in the morning!
Aiden was also dedicated on Sunday-which was really special! We were blessed by God to be entrusted to raise him and we wanted to just publically acknowledge that we will try our best to show him the love of Jesus and pray that he will grow up to be the man God intended him to be.We asked Jeff's dad to pray over us and Aiden, very special as well.
Aiden was dedicated along with baby Abby, she was bright-eyed for the whole time, while Aiden slept(at least he didn't cry)
It was really awesome to just be able to dedicate him on Mother's day and remind myself what an great priviledge it is to be a mother!
Although this may not look appetizing, it was incredible. We took my mom to the Saskatoon Berry Barn for lunch. Very yummy waffles and sausage and all the topping you could want!
The day ended with a fun barbeque at my Uncle Walter and Auntie Susan's, Aiden Loves being outdoors, but it sure poops him out. He was definitely ready for bed before 8 O'Clock. Actually that wasn't the end of the day, Jeff let me pick out any movie, so Music and Lyrics it was, unfortuately I fell asleep before it ended, so I guess I will have to watch the last bit sometime today!

Good Morning Joc! I love this post! Way to go Jeff on the special morning yesterday. That is true love when you make your wife a meal you don't actually enjoy eating. I am happy you got pampered!
We would have loved to have been at Aiden's baby dedication... handsome sleeping babe... thanking God with you for this awesome gift of parenthood!
And lastly... I liked the movie Music and Lyrics and highly recommend a day time watching to ensure you stay awake. Wish I could come join you:). I have a mighty long list of readings to do before class tomorrow. AHHH!!! Missing you lots and hoping this week continues to hold things that remind you of how special you are. Love you!

Happy 1st Mother's Day!! It really is a priviledge to be a Mom. I love it more each day. I'm glad that Aiden likes the bumbo. I had a nice, relaxing Mother's Day including a nap (every Mom's dream). What a great idea to get Aidan dedicated on Mother's Day.
