I have great intentions of updating more frequently but life just gets in the way. My mom's group celebrated our only girl "babies" 1st birthday. It was a super hot day and unfortunately Aiden had been spiking a major fever, so we didn't get to stay to long. His fever lasted for four days, he did get a tooth however we are certain now that he picked up some sort of parisite at the lake we were at. He also got swimmers itch. Ahhh it was awful, he had it the worst around his mouth and inside, which means he couldn't eat very well, and then his legs and bum. Very uncomfortable for a little peanut! My doctor misdiagnosed it as impetigo, which I am very familiar with since we get impetigo outbreaks at work all the time. However, you try to trust your doctor but after a few days, I knew it wasn't impetigo. I talked to some other people at church and their family had gotten it the week before our camping trip, so were pretty sure it was the itch!
My "little" cousin Bryan graduated from high school at the end of the month (sure been a long time since the pyramid Bry) Aiden didn't make it through the ceremony, Jeff had to take him home since he was still sick, which meant we missed my cousin Miranda's grad the next day.
These are a few of Aiden's favorite things to do. Jeff's aunt dropped off a table his Grandpa made, Jeff played with it as a kid, so its pretty special that we got it. Aiden loves have snack there and playing with his dishes. The puppy kitty book is his absolute favorite and can say and pick out all the balls in the book. Playing with Dad is a huge highlight at the end of the day and he absolutely loves rough housing and teasing and wearing Dad out! :)
Jeff had a ball tournament this last Saturday, I played as well however I was kicked off the team when an umpire found out I was pregnant. I guess the National Slowpitch League has a rule against pregnant women playing. I was outraged to say the least! Anyway it killed me to watch but I did, we spent a lot of time in the car through out the day since the wind was really bad and Aiden has a pretty nasty cold. It was good to be done by the early afternoon, yeah the team sucked out but had fun, I said its because I wasn't there:)
Aiden also carries the bench from his table everywhere, mainly the coffee table to have more snacks. Yes my little munchkin is a little addicted to snacks. I would love some healthy snack ideas from anyone out there, especially ones to take in the diaper bag. He loves fruit, dry cereal and yogurt and has discovered a new love for gummy bears!
Daddy and Aiden sitting on the naughty mat:)
Favorite toy-Daddy!
Well that's been the last few weeks! Aside from a gross migraine this morning and afternoon causing me to miss work, things have been really good at the Froese household. Looking forward to an upcoming Loewen wedding, swimming in our new pool, and eating lettuce from my garden!

First off, the new template looks great.
Glad to read that you're feeling better but I'm sorry that Aiden got the itch and went through a terrible teething ordeal. Poor little guy. I'm guessing he's back to normal now though. I love the pictures of him with Jeff. Watching Kyra and Eric play together are some of my favorite moments in the day.
Since I can barely see my eyes are so tired, I'm going to sign off here and head to bed. Love you!

I love the new look of your blog! Very "summer-y" and totally cute! :) Our weather has been pretty cold and very windy. We've been having a high of about 10 degrees :( I'm definitely looking forward to warm weather here!

Sorry Aiden's been feeling sick lately! I hope he gets better soon! I hope your migrains get better too! I'm glad your summer is going well. I miss you so much! Have a great week!

I love you, Girl!

When I was preggo with Teagan I was also playing ball until the day that I hit the ball pretty much right to the pitcher and was running to first base and I got in the way of the first baseman and the ball and just about got it in the stomach. That freaked me out enough to call it quits with the game (plus I really suck at it any way:)I'm sure that's not the case with you, but the risk wasn't worth it with me.
About snacks - Teagan is a snacker as well. She loves pretzels, not sure well they would do on the health o meter, but better than the suckers that are number one on her list. Gold fish crackers, and I found these cranberry/apple granola bars at Superstore.

Sounds like poor little Aiden's had a rough time lately! Hope he's feeling better now. That's too bad that you can't play softball anymore, although it is a bit safer on the sidelines.

Love the pics of Aiden playing with Jeff! So cute:).

Do your headaches come with pregnancy or all the time?
