Finally! our "vacation" on a brief glance

Wow here it is! Finally our trip to BC in pictures:)
Aiden did absolutely awesome on the flights, a little cranky on the descent into Abbotsford, but amazingly he actually slept in my arms. He never does this, much prefers his crib or carseat, so I was really thankful, even though my arm felt like falling off by the time we landed.
I flew up by myself on Wednesday and Jeff followed on Friday.
Much of the two weeks was a blur but we did manage to have some fun family moments, if not for ourselves, for the sake of the kids.

My silly son and nieces on the way to Harrison Hot Srings. I know girls you want to be as cool as your auntie Joc!
We had some time to hang with family, lots of cousin babies greeting each other for the first time, Myra is the latest addition to the growing Loewen baby clan, with mom and dad Charlotte and Tim. Aiden also spent time with Kyra, competing for who could "talk" the loudest.

Charlotte I can see some similarities in Myra and Aiden.

We took a fun two hour boat tour in Harrison Hot Springs. On this really cool houseboat. Some awesome scenery and super cabins Jeff and I would love to call our own!
We spent some time at the lake beach as well, had a picnic and just had some family time. BIg moment, Jeff put Aiden on the blanket sitting and he stayed that way for a LONG time, yep our little bunky bear is totally sitting now and rarely falls over. Still hasn't rolled over, but he's sitting and walking with our hands, crazy kid!
What's a vacation without some family pics!
We also spent some time at Cultus Lake. Hanging out with Yvonne and Eric and friends Leanne and Colin and my fam Ray and Sam and kids. Super fun, Aiden got to hang out a bit more with other kids. I think here is where we discovered Aiden does NOT enjoy cold water and would rather be snug in his stroller.
Date night, with Jeff and I. Coffee and a fun walk, are we pathetic or what but we couldn't think of anything else to do so we went home:)
My sister and I redecorated my nieces' room, I LOVE it and I hope they do as well. I had a vision and my sister let me at for the most part! THANKS sam!
On August 6th Aiden was 6months, so I took some pics! I think they turned out really cute!
Classic White Rock trip. Although very noisy because it was the festival of the Sea, it was still fun and we all went home with mega sun burns. Again Aiden not a fan of the water, he did enjoy playing on the blanket though.
Just some fun Aidey baby pic that Auntie Rosanna took!
Time to go home....although always really sad for me, I know Aiden was ready to go home and be back in his space.
Back home this last week has been pretty crazy, I believe Aiden is teething hard core so he has been pretty miserable, not napping properly which drives me crazy, not eating properly and just really needy. Not the baby I am used to. SO I am anxiously awaiting for these silly things to finally pop through only to lost them again in 6 years! How funny!

We also had the arrival of another foster boy. He is three and things are going really really well, however, its adjusting to a new routine and the business of that. More on that subject later since my husband is staying up to stay good-night I better do that here!

Good-night!

It was great to see you all Joc. The girls room looks great - pretty much what I pictured as you were describing it:) It was fun to see Kyra and Aiden interact. Another foster child - wow. I'm glad things are going better this time around and I look to hearing an update about that. I love you and miss you.

Joc,

Your trip looks like it was filled with a lot of activity. Glad you could spend some time with your family!
Love what you did with the girls room! I might have to get you to come with me when I get ready to decorate the nursery (so start getting visions in your head). And we won't tell Sheldon how much we spent, that way he can't get mad at us AGAIN.
