I'm a little beach bum:)

Aiden had his first experience at the lake this last weekend. We didn't stay for the overnights, but went up for the day on Saturday and Sunday to join in our church camping trip. Saturday was absolutely beautiful, I got a great sunburn and Aiden experienced his first time in the lake. Another mom had brought the iddy biddy paddling pool, that Aiden really enjoyed. However, he could only take the cold water for a bit, before he got a little crabby. Considering there was no shade on the beach, we managed to keep him relatively covered. What a fun day!

Sunday a completely different story. Absolute opposite. Torrential rains, and my husband had the privilege of baptisming three of our youth. Yeah, it was freezing, but Jeff said the lake was actually quite warm. What a great memory. Thankfully my mom kept Aiden so we didn't have to worry about him. We definitely just stayed for the baptism and then headed home, to spend the rest of father's day, watching movies and eating snacks. Jeff's very favorite thing to do. A really relaxing afternoon. Aiden has had a pretty rough week, Monday night he barely slept at all, and was just up crying and crying. I finally fed him at 4 and he went to sleep for a couple of hours. Not a clue what was going on, if it was teeth, or what. It is so hard when they can't communicate and its such a guessing game. I don't want to be so quick to use tylenol, but I would hate for him to have been in pain. However, as soon as I held him he was fine, so maybe just a battle of the wills.
He has been doing okay since, so I guess we will just hum along and hope he catches up on sleep so the rest of us can as well.
He is certainly enjoying his exersaucer more, and screams in delight whenever, he is in it. Our windows are open and I'm sure our neighbors think he's upset, but that's really a happy scream:)

I love baptisms in the lake.
We were in Stoon with all that rain...crazy!
And yeah for the beach. I am so afraid to have Isaiah's pasty white skin get burned.

I removed the previous post. I mis-spelled a word and I just didn't feel as though I could leave it there for the rest of the world to see. Your weekend was filled with good things. I loved seeing these pictures. Makes me wish I could spend a sunny afternoon at the lake with you. Thinking of you all today and missing you more than words can say.
