Well I am attempting to blog my first video of Aiden. It's probably pretty boring to most. But to this moment he has never really "played" with his toys, so I was pretty excited to see him figure out the exersaucer toys:)
We are in the middle of trying to change his schedule around to encourage sleeping through the night. He normally only wakes up once, but since he's almost four months I would love him to sleep all the way through. I read that he should now be having more ounces, but less often. He did so well on the first day sleeping from 10 until 5. And then he went back down until 8:30. Now he refuses to eat the last two ounces which makes him hungry before the "scheduled" time. I am beginning to hate that word. A little frustrating and maybe he's just not ready. Definitely contemplating the pablum word, but would really, really like to wait until 6 months.
This weekend we are off to Edmonton, so he will probably get quite twisted around anyway:)
I can't say I am much of a morning person, so when he's up at his normal 6:30, whew its a bit of a long day. I am definitely not a napper, and very project oriented, so needless to say I fall into bed exhausted most nights.
Well all is quiet again, just had to take a little break to feed my honey, Yeah all 7 ounces were devoured, even though he was half and hour early. He is now down for hopefully his long afternoon nap.
I should maximize this time, finish packing and dig out my last flowerbed!

So cute! I thought that being around Kyra would make me used to how fast babies grow up, but wow. I can't believe he's so big! He was only 4 weeks old when I last saw him. Crazy!
What a cute video. He's so enthralled with those toys! I love it.
The best thing I did was switch Keziah to a 4 hour routine at 4 months. We're still on that routine where she eats at roughly 7, 11, 3 and 7 every day. I also did a dreamfeed at around 10:30 for awhile. The 4-hour routine works out good because it spaces her day out nicely into three naps. I love having this predicability and yet I don't freak out when we have an "off" day here and there. And you're probably OK in waiting on the solids as Aiden probably doesn't NEED them. I didn't find it made a difference with sleeping at all when I introduced them early. The biggest sleep helpers have been the 4-hour routine, the dreamfeed and then just plain letting her cry!
I hope you find success and get the sleep you need :)
Hi Joc,
I love the video - it's so fun to watch them learn how their toys work and watch them playing. I hope Aiden starts sleeping through the night soon and that you have a good time in Edmonton. Love you!
