On our way! Aiden travelled very well, he got really excited that DQ had a little play table and was quite happy to play there while we waited 35 min for our food. He slept a good portion of the trip, which ended up completely messing up his first night at Jeff's parent's among other new surroundings he wasn't used to. Our first day in Calgary was a little rough since Jeff and I were very exhausted!

We did Callaway Park first off. I had never been there so it was fun to see what it is all about. Aiden loved the few rides he could go on, but especially the horse ride with Grandpa!

The log ride, which I was most disappointed not to go on. It was a rather chilly day, so everyone who was wet, was a little cold after, maybe I am not so disappointed!

We did the zoo on Sunday, I also never been there, well maybe when I was super little, didn't remember it at all. I loved it, I wish it hadn't rained all day so we could have enjoyed it more. Aiden was also in his glory and probably could have sat by the gorillas all day and watched them.

Some of the fun animals!

Random pictures of my cutie nephews Kaiwren and Noah, well Noah might not like being called cute anymore:) Oh and my great looking sister-in-law:)

Yep would definitely like to return on a sunny day, although we all look pretty hot in our ponchos!

A quick family pic on Monday before we headed out!

A quick pic with Grandma and Grandpa!

Enjoying IKEA, actually Aiden slept for most of it, which was awesome! We had great success with some new things for Aiden's new room (pictures later when its done) and we bought a mystery box in the as is section which turned out to be this cabinet that Jeff had now fashioned into a very trendy computer area!
Aiden travelled fairly well on the way back, aside from getting a really nasty bum rash that left him pretty uncomfortable, he did sleep a good part, lucky him. That certainly is a very boring drive and my legs were feeling pretty cramped by the time we got home.
All in all a fun weekend and very glad we got to travel at least a tiny bit this summer.
Well last night was a very rotten night with Aiden, not sure what was going on, I hate trying to guess and hate being sleep deprived even more, I am going to try and put him down this morning and maybe catch up on some sleep myself.

Great post Joc! Miss you.
It must be even more exhausting to be sleep deprived when you are pregnant, hey?

You got some really cute pics, Joc! I'm so glad we had a chance to talk the other day! I miss you like crazy! Have a great day and we'll talk again soon.
Love you lots!
Looks like you guys had a good time in Calgary! Love the pics - that's great that you were able to get a few family shots of the three of you!
In reply to the comment you left on our blog, work's going pretty well...I miss Ethan, but it's also nice to get out of the house and be with adults. And it would be great if we could connect sometime while you're out here! You'll have to let us know what your schedule looks like. Can't wait to see how much your little guy has grown!
