This one picture pretty much sums up what our Easter was like this year. The Thursday before Good Friday, I started coughing and it went downhill from there. I was pretty much in bed for the next 5 days. I did manage to get ready for Easter Sunday, after throwing up three times before we left, we did make it to church. I knew my brother Ray, his family Sam, Matt, Rachel and Alyssa were going to surprise my mom at my Grandma's house, so I really didn't want to miss that. However, Aiden really started going down hill on Easter Sunday as well. The next week was a lot of coughing, runny nose, fevers, throwing up and genuine uncomfortableness for Aiden and I. I felt like I totally missed out on a really fun week with my family. I definitely cried a few times. You know when your in the moment, you feel like your never going to be better and forget what its like to feel normal. I still have some really awful nauseausness and no appetite(No I am not pregnant and yes I am sure) Aiden has been slowly on the mend, he's finally got his appetite back, however, he has been sleeping really poorly. I don't know if its a fight of the wills, since we took him into our bed alot last week. Last night we just let him cry it out and eventually he finally settled. Very frustrating not knowing if theres a problem or he's just being stubborn.
I did manage to have my niece and nephew over for a sleepover. Matt and Jeff had a Lord of the Rings marathon downstairs. The kids and I watched movies and ate treats upstairs. I put the boys to bed and then Alyssa and I watched another movie, at 11pm she nudged me and said "uh Auntie the movies over and you slept through most of it" oops!
Since I couldn't get it together on Sunday to do the boys Easter treats from us. They did them at my mom's with their cousins. Aiden's was a little obvious:) But he loved it.
J had a blast looking for his basket, we told him little clues and he went on a hunt. It was pretty fun!

Jeff was having some fun with the camera yesterday. Aiden loves to sit in anything and be pulled around.
I have a great video of Aiden finally walking. He still will only do it when he's in the mood, but he is doing it a lot more without our prompting. Yeah!

I'm so sorry to hear you and Aiden were both so sick while Ray & Cass were there. Glad to see those fun pictures though and to see that you still were able to have some fun with them. Praying that you and Aiden both continue to get beter and that he returns to normal sleeping patterns. Love you!
