Catch up!

Wow I am just getting really bad at this blogging thing, these last few weeks have just seemed to fly by. I can't believe its October already!
Here's a little recap of our September:)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AUNTIE ANGELA!
We had a super fun celebration for Angela's birthday. We spent the evening at the Keg and just ate ate and ate, and just had a great time visting. The kids did awesome considering we were there for over 3 hours. They just played, Aiden entertained the tables around us and it was soo enjoyable.

Just some random photos of my boys. Things have been going really good. Aiden continues to fly up the charts. Always in the 90th percentile for everything. He loves all food except peas and corn. I am sure you can tell:) He still does very little as far as movement, don't get me wrong he's really hyper, but in his exersaucer, highchair or bouncing in one place on the floor. Yep quite content to just sit there and watch the action. He is definitely trying to talk lots and has a pretty good handle on da da da, ha ha, the hi and uh oh are come and go. But he is definitely trying and is rarely silent!
J continues to do really well, with good days and some impatient ones. Yesterday he spent the entire morning at the Kinsmen Center. They are continuing to monitor him for FASD (Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder). As of yesterday, he doesn't have enough symptoms to diagnos. Which is really good, he is developing normally but does need some help with his speech. I can't remember the technical term, but he needs a little support in this area. He could also work on his fine motor skills a bit more, like using scissors and things. He also tends to be a fair bit more impulsive than other kids his age, which could become a problem in the future. But for right now consistency and working on the other areas should help him improve.
He had regressed a little with potty training, but has gone accident free for almost a week and a half, which earned him a BOZ bear. The best new videos for kids! All of a sudden he is very manners conscience, saying please and thankyou for everything and asking politely for everything, although I am not complaining it does get old after saying please for sitting in a chair or simple things like that:)

We had the chance to go to a Rider game. Super fun however a bit chilly, however it was kid free, Thankyou Auntie Jolene and after we a fun barbeque with family and picked Christmas box! Yeah!

Waiting for Daddy at work. I stayed in the city for the whole day yesterday instead of coming home, Yeah that was a long day. But we amused ourselves in the music department at Jeff's work!

And finally we dug out our potatoes, J was absolutely thrilled to "help". Very excited to pull out all the carrots as well, but that is today's project. Along with another batch of salsa, working on a slide show for my grandpa, doing some youth administration and the list goes on. I woke up with a cold so I instantly feel motivation slip away, lets just say we go from watching no TV all week, to a morning of cartoons.

Yay for a new post! Your boys are so cute - love the pictures. Staying in Saskatoon all day would be long - looks like the boys had fun though:)
I'll be praying for J as you work though his issues. He just looks right at home in all those pictures! I love you Jocelyn and wish I could come for a visit.

So glad to hear things are going well, minus your new cold, boo :( and busy. I was wondering what was going on with you, it was nice to see a new post from you. Hope this cold doesn't knock you down for to hard or for to long.
