My continued attempt at being domestic and the other adventures of the past weeks here at the Froese house

Before

After.

I actually successfully made baby food out of my own garden vegetables. However, the first time I fed them to Aiden, he gagged, I still tried to encourage hime to eat them, but ended up throwing every last bit up at the end. Yuck! So it was on to peas, still the faces, but no gagging or throwing up, perhaps my baby food expedtion was not so successful. Jeff was so awesome and blended everything up really well. So it was a fun family project anyway!

Aiden spent some time with G and G Froese, Grandpa Froese got him this really cool new trike, I think he will love it and someone else is already getting plenty of use out of it.......

Meet J-------. Our newest foster son. He is 3 1/2 and smart as a whip. What an absolute honey. Things are the complete opposite this time, this is one of the most well behaved, calm little guy. He does talk from morning to night, so I am never bored:) I am so excited I got him into a preschool here in town, he is definitely ready. He had a little regression in potty training, with understanding. But now he seems to again be completely trained even for night. Yeah!
We took a hurried trip to Winnipeg Manitoba for my cousin Cheryl lynn's Wedding. We left Friday around 3:30pm and arrived in MB around 2:30am. The kids did so awesome, J never asked once to get out of his carseat or if we were there yet, we were truly blessed.
The wedding was simple and sooo beautiful! Congrats you guys!
J seemed to be the life of the party and immediatly bonded with my many cousins, he was such a trooper!
Aiden had a super bad cold and he is hard core teething and he was still really good, both kids slept really well!

It's good to be done our summer travelling for this year even though that means summer is coming to a close. But I am getting excited about the upcoming youth year and being in care group again. Things will be a bit more challenging with two kids and finding childcare, but I know it will all work out. I love routine and schedules and I am so excited that fall is coming that is my favorite season AND the Sears wishbook came out this week- need I say more!

That is so funny that Aiden gaged on your baby food. You should have videoed that! I'm sure that it couldn't have tasted that bad. Just feed the rest to Jeff in a sandwich as a spread or something! He will never know, he might even like it. Looks like "J" is fitting right in. I know that I already think he is sweet and I have only been with him for like 5 minutes. I am so happy that he is doing so good! He is going to love Preschool.
See ya,
Jolene

J is such a cutie. Glad that things are going better for you all this time around. Of course I think Aiden is such a cutie too - wish we could come have a play date. Love you!

I am sorry, but do you really blame your son for not eating those mashed up beans??? There is no way I would eat those either!! Smart kid, must take after Auntie Janet!!

Glad to hear things are going well with your new "son"

Wow, your hard core growing and making your own baby food. I make my own too, but you got me beat on the growing thing. So glad your enjoying J.
