Horrified!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So Sunday night when we went out for our very routine walk, I was pretty paranoid about the mosquitos, but we had Aiden in his net, so I felt pretty confident that he was okay. Unforturnately, when we stopped in at my mom's, Jeff pulled back the net and killed a bunch inside. Well we didn't notice any bites on Aiden, since only his head was exposed.
Monday morning this is what we woke up to. Jeff counted over 15 mosquito bites on just Aiden's head and face. I cried. Definitely felt like a horrible mom. The funny thing is, they didn't seem to bother him, I made up this baking soda pasted and spread it all over and by Tuesday they had really shrunk and some were gone.
I think from now on Aiden will be in his carseat with the net, instead of just the stroller.
Poor little honey, here he is being a trooper!

Aiden experienced his first swing ride at the park on Saturday. Jeff's parent's were camping in the city and it had this cute little park. Aiden seemed to like it, he was very content. We finished our walk, got back to the campsite and he vomited, unlike any time before all over the place. AHhh, not sure if it was the motion, the combination of a bumpy stroller ride and the motion or just a concidence.
Yes my poor son had quite the tramatic weekend!

I love long weekends, as I have previously posted, Monday was such an awesome day to get little forgotten projects done. I think our yard is almost at the photographic stage, a bit more to do and I will post some before and after pictures. I am so excited to utilize my time this summer to get our yard looking good. With a potential of expanding our family possibly by the end of the week, I think I will be thankful for what we accomplished. More on that to come!

Ohhh... mosquitoes should be banned from getting little innocent children. Poor Aiden! You guys look great! Praying for you today and missing you.

What is it with mosquitoes and little kids? Abbie is also covered in bites...and I can't figure out how, since I always try to watch for them so carefully whenever we're outside...oh well, could be worse, I guess!
By the way, I think it's so awesome that you are stepping out in faith to help those who need it - fostering is something that is very challenging but hugely rewarding at the same time! (speaking from my vast two months experience!) I can't wait to here more about how that's going!
