Well as you can see Aiden is growing and changing so much! He is being a little more generous with his smiles and no matter what his mood is he gives gigantic smiles anytime you squeak a kind of toy with a high pitched squeak:)
I also love his pouty face and think he looks a lot like his dad:)
This week has been a little frustrating as I have been trying to encourage sleeping through the night. He was almost there before he caught his nasty cold, and now it seems we are starting all over. He is quite scheduled during the day with a short early morning nap and then a longer late morning nap and then an even longer afternoon nap. He is usually up until 8 or 9pm and then down for night. On Sunday night he slept all the way until 4am and was really sleepy during his feed and not to interested, so I could have kicked myself for not just rocking him and putting him back to bed. So last night I decided to only feed him if he was really upset. Well he went to bed at 9pm, he had eaten at 8, so I gave him a "dream feed" at 11pm. He was then up at 2am because he kicked off all his blankets, and he hates being cold, so I rewrapped him and he went back to sleep until 3:30, managed to get him back to sleep again, but then he wanted to eat at 5am, which is really off schedule. Would have been awesome without all the other interruptions. So he ate then and now he was up again a 5:30, full diaper, dealt with that, he was wide awake but I put him back down anyway and went back to bed, up again at 7:00 apparantly I missed that he had soaked his sleeper and he was misarable about that. (not that I blame him!) So now he is wide awake and happy! It seemed a bit of a tumultous night, especially when usually he goes to bed is up between 3 and 4, back down until 6:30 or 7 and I feel more rested! SO maybe we will just stick to his schedule and wait a bit to see if he starts sleeping through on his own.
What a roller coaster!
I love however that he is getting very used to going in his crib awake a nap time and falling asleep on his own, I love hearing him babble as he drifts off to sleep and then his little snores! He is a very noisy sleeper:)
Well I just went to check on him and this is how I found him. Played himself out already. So much for the 8 O Clock feed:)
In other news I have had a bit of a challenging week, with a very sore tailbone. It was uncomfortable ever since my last month of pregnancy, eased up for a bit after Aiden was born and now the pain is back in full force. It is very difficult to sit or get up quickly. Very strange. I have an appointment with my doctor next week so hopefully its nothing major.
Its finally sunny and warm (except today) so it will be nice to finally get out and walk/run off that last amount of depressing weight. With summer on the horizon its very sad not being able to fit into all my fun summer clothes. Its so hard to eat healthy when your by yourself all day and the Easter treats are calling my name. This has been an age old struggle for me, but I desprately want to feel good about my body shape, I don't care about the number on the scale I just want to feel good about how my clothes feel. I know taking care of my body is also God honoring, but becoming obsessive about it is not!
Well that's the rant for today, stay tuned for tommorow, when Aiden gets his first round of shots. I am not sure who is going to cry more, me or him. (YUCK!)

I am so blessed to have such a sweet nephew and two amazing parents.
I really like the poudy face one. It's great. And I agree it does look like daddy.I think I have seen that face before. It's my brother, Jeffery.
Joc, I hope you start feeling better and the docs are able to find the cause of your pain. I also do hope that things great better for Adien as far night time and feeding. I love you guys tons. Good luck with the needles tomorrow.

i know EXACTLY what you mean about the whole weight issue! Kamryn is 2 and i still havn't gotten to the weight i would like!! it's a tough go - i just have to keep remembering that i'm spending my time being a Mom, and hopefully the nice weather outside will mean more walks so that i can start feeling better about myself...take it slow...it'll happen!! :)
Hey Joc,
Sorry to hear that the nights are so hard for you. Hopefully Aiden gets himself sorted out soon:) I'm glad he's smiling more for you - that's the best sight in the world as far as I'm concerned:) I'm also sorry that you're in so much pain -hopefully the doctor can help you out. As far as the shots are concerned - I wish you all the best. I cried for a while once the Tylenol wore off and Kyra could feel the pain. I didn't realize that I could give her more medication already but once I did she was fine. I'm sure you've been told this but giving them Tylenol/Tempra 10/15 minutes before your appointment helps out a lot. Love you lots and good luck with everything!
One more week and I will be in your household. I am so excited! I prayed for you today. Healing for the butt bone, surprising rest in the night, and reminders of how beautiful you are. You are a perfect design... and your body is a symbol of love and in some ways sacrifice... praying TRUTH will reign admist it all. Love you muchly!
What a cutie! I don't think that anyone can deny that. I love his smile and I am proud to say that I have gotten a few from him already, what a special boy! I love my baby nephew.
