Me! Don't forget me! I want to be there Joc in the worst way. Know my thoughts are constantly with you and I pray for you lots. Wishing I could be sharing lots of nearby moments with you as you await this big day. I love you so much! Missing you like crazy! ps - Love the preparedness! Hope this week off has felt really productive.
i remember packing my bag before my daughter Kamryn was born. i packed so much stuff. and you know what i used? one nursing shirt on the 1st day, my toothbrush on the 3rd day, my shampoo and brush on the 4th day...and maybe a snack or too! you always pack with the best intentions, but it really is better safe than sorry! i brought so much stuff - and didn't use 95% of it! :) but i think it totally depends on your labour experience & how good you feel after. i brought stuff like: camera, toothbrush, deoderant, mascara, PADS (!), magazines, snacks, shampoo, lotion, comfy tee-shirts or nursing shirts, sweats (i couldn't wear pants because of my c-section), slippers, hair ties, a brush (those hospital beds can do a number on your hair - i STILL have knots from Kamryn), pens (to fill out the paperwork), a couple of "bringhome" outfits (different sizes...the original one i brought for Kamryn was WAY too small!), your own pillow, lip stuff, ...etc, etc.... but like i said - i think i only used my toothbrush, a hair tie and a pen! :) if you have a c-section you have to use the hospital shampoo because of the incisions - but i highly recommend bringing your own because if you give birth naturally - i think it would make a world of difference to smell pretty and like YOU!! :) and bring some extra stuff for Jeff too, shirts, toothbrush etc... - especially snacks..that was the main thing Rod needed. ok, this probably wasn't helpful at all because you're already all packed... good luck! i'll pray for you guys tonite. blessings!
As any normal mother, I love to brag about my boys, their cuteness, their accomplishments and their mischeviousness! I am a mostly stay at home mom, with awesome support from my husband Jeff. The saying that time goes by so fast when they are little is really true! Everyday time just seems to pick up speed. Our life has taken quite a twist as we try to navigate the roles of Pastor and his wife. The challenges are many, its takes a lot of courage, but where there is a loving church family you find immeasurable blessings to balance out the challenges and encouragement to continue on this unknown path. We are confident in our obedience to God and although it's a big step for us we know we are in the place we are suppose to be. Our life is pretty simple, normal and uneventful- enjoy this small glimpse of the Froese family!
