Well maybe not so much anymore!
It's the truth, I have failed the dreaded sugar test. So today was the very fun morning of fasting, giving blood three times and waiting in the lab office for 3 hours. Actually it wasn't to bad, another women was there doing the same test, so we chatted the whole time and fantazied about the first thing we were going to eat when it was over. Trust me I have never eaten a Tim Hortons muffin so quickly. I have a very supportive husband that ate his muffin and drank his coffee right in front of the two starving mom's to be, oh well at least he bought me one for after.
Results come in on Tuesday, and quite honestly, it being Christmas and all it would really be a downer to have gestational diabetes. I love Christmas and the food is a big part of that! However, I do love this baby more and will do anything to make sure he/she stays healthy. I can't believe its only 8 more weeks tommorow! Time has sure gone by quickly, I'm sure it will come to a grinding halt right after Christmas, but until then things are going well and the anticipation is certainly building!

i hope you will be ok. it would be really hard to miss out on the goodies at christmas - but you can do it. you'll have to make jeff start eating only what you can eat if that's what it takes :) haha
Is this sugar test a regular test they do? I guess I'll have that some time then too. Sure hope your results are normal.

Sorry to hear that you have gestational diabetes. Hopefully you can still enjoy some sweets - it just means everything in moderation, right? I can't believe you have only 8 weeks to go - craziness! Hopefully you're doing well otherwise and I'll talk to you later!
Jeffery... the nerve of him to eat that muffin in front of you. I hope the test result are good as well. Missing you these days. Nate took me to Whistler for the weekend. It was marvelous! Still saves a Celine weekend for the summer. Love you!
